In 2009 and 2010 the Midlands Music Festival was held in the Castle Grounds at Tamworth. It was organised by the charity Just1Life and included some of the top acts in the British Music World.
Visitors joined us on Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of July 2010 at Tamworth Castle Pleasure Grounds, just 15 minutes from Birmingham city centre, for a weekend of the biggest stars and the greatest live music!
Saturday the 17th Saw some of the biggest stars from the 80′s taking to the festival stage for eight hours of pure musical heaven. On Sunday the 18th July, you could have joined us for a day of massive hits and the biggest and best chart stars around performing live on the festival stage.
It was a truly amazing festival to attend! Acts that attended included:

Scouting for Girls
Currently there is no further festival organise, however the midlands is still one of the best places to visit when traveling to the UK! The Midlands was recently voted one of the top missed opportunities for tourists to visit by www.sightseeingtourslondon.co.uk and we can see why when we list some of the top attractions in the Midlands people can visit:
- Symphony Hall in Birmingham
- The Coventry Music Museum
- RAF Museum in Cosford
- Black Country Living Museum
There are also some other great concerts organised across the UK that you can consider visiting and these are available on sites such as TicketMaster.
